Majestic Wedding Stages By Professional Party Planners

There is a lot to consider when setting a stage for any kind of bridal event. Such as the backdrop, the seating arrangements for the bridal couple, the family, the overall décor and ambiance.  An expert event planner would also consider the space around the bridal seating area for a group shot in case it takes place.  A factor that is perhaps overlooked many times when a professional designer or a person with a good sense of design and space is not involved.  We stress this point because when space is not considered, embarrassing accidents such as people falling off the stage or someone accidentally toppling some giant décor piece during photography sessions are bound to happen. 

To give you some inspiration and ideas, we wanted to look at some beautiful stage examples provided by Henna and Lala of Professional Party Planners in Chicago that are known for their stage décor and floral work.  You will see that they pay special attention to color coordination, fabric, lighting and most importantly the floral arrangements to create the perfect ambiance.

First up we have an exotic colored stage decor for a Peacock theme Mehndi/Henna event.  As you will notice, it was created with flowy fabric canopy in peacock colors of emerald green, turquoise and brown. 

Right above bridal seating area and hanging in the center is the a large floral chandelier made up of crystals, candles and theme colored flowers. Standing out and sparkling on both sides of the stage as well are the pretty shiny crystal strands along with burning votive candles and decorative peacocks nestled in curly willow trees. An interesting decor addition are the two umbrellas on both corners of the stage that stand out with their colorful pillow cushions.

Following is a bold stage design that incorporated rich colors of navy blue, red, gold and white to create a magnificent stage setting at the Oakbrook Marriot Hotel.  Here what stands out is the blue light effect and focus created with hanging shiny crystal strands behind the main seating area on the stage. Another decor area that stands out are the shimmering gold and silver crystal strands hanging from the curly willow tree on both sides.

Next picture is of a stage that was designed for a lavish event for a party of 1200 at the Drury Lane in Oak Brook.  Here you can see a beautiful serpentine backdrop with a fresh floral structure against Austrian puff style curtains, a canopy to center and a large floral sphere serving as a chandelier.  Also standing out and adding to the overall majestic ambiance of the room and working as a frame for the aisle on both sides are the two square columns with large fresh floral vases.

The next one is a modern and elegant style stage setting. The giant candle wall backdrop and neutral color tones of gold, white and beige create a simple yet romantic ambiance. What really stands out on the stage is the shelf with different shapes and sizes of burning candles along with pretty floral vases.

This last one is definitely a favorite and the most dreamy in our opinion! Elegant chaise (Dewan) style sofa surrounded by ivory and white backdrop draping  that continues and flows down a beatiful aisle of calla lily and dendrobium orchid florals at the Cotillion Banquets in Palatine. The beautiful pink and white floral set up along the both sides of the  aisle and similar colored rose petals leading up to the stage defnitely create a magical entrance way for the stage.
